Dharavi: Mumbai's Hidden Heart

Giant lead water pipes laid down by the British in colonial times pass through Dharavi. Residents have built their homes around the pipes where they serve as a foundation and a playground for local children. Water continues to be a problem for Dharavi's population and is available only for 2 hours per day.
