The sound and familiar smell of a passing military vehicle is enough to trigger a mental breakdown for Kahlor that forced him to leave a Veteran's Day parade. 'His gear was soaked with blood. My hands could still feel the moisture of his sweat. I felt like something was missing in me,' Ryan wrote in his journal after aiding a fellow Marine who was killed in action. Ryan has had problems controlling the PTSD related events in life.
