Cody and Chris hold hands while watching the midnight showing of Milk, which documents the struggles of Harvey Milk, California's first openly gay official elected in 1977, who was later assassinated. Protest scences in the movie were startlingly similar to the protests the couple have been involved in since Proposition 8 passed on November 8, 2008.
