Caption/Description
Camps once located on land of little value now sit in highly populated urban areas where real estate prices are at a premium. Laws drafted thrity five years ago to protect the camps are seldom enforced. Evictions for private development are not uncommon and leave Bihari homeless. A young girl looks over the demolished land of a camp where twenty families were evicted and relocated to a much smaller camp nearby to make way for private development.
