Albert Verbrugghe, Belgian cement factory worker at Jodotville in Katanga Province, emerges screaming from his automobile. U.N. Indian troops had fired on the car, killing Verbrugghe's wife and another woman passenger. Verbrugghe was severely wounded. Photographed January 3, 1963.
