Board 1 and part of board 2 show Arnold Palmer, the first round leader, wincing as his game begins to fail. Board 2 and 3 show second round leader Tommy Jacob's elation as he rolls in a 60'6' putt on the 18th green for a round of 64. Board 3 shows eventual winner Ken Venturi, overcome by the heat and wilted at the finish. Dick Darcey is also credited with the photos.
