A panic-stricken Vietnamese mother holding a half-clothed child, gets up from a crouching position to flee from sniper fire aimed at U.S. Marine behind her. She and other villagers of My Son were caught in crossfire when the Marines moved into the hamlet to clear it of Viet Cong and expand the defense perimeter around Da Nang Air Force base.
