In a meadow beside the Delaware River at the base of Bowman's Hill, Washington Crossing State Park, are the graves of some of American's first unknown soldiers. They are the graves of Washington's soldiers who died while waiting to attack Trenton. A large fieldstone marks the grave of Captain James Henry Moore who died Christmas day, 1776.
