Robert Dent lies dying on the doorstep of him home after he was shot by Texas Rangers. His wife sits weeping nearby. The Dents held a Texas highway patrolman hostage at gun point in his patrol car for six hours, during a 300-mile chase. Texas Rangers were waiting inside the house when Dent arrived with the patrolman. The Rangers shot and killed him as he entered.
