Photographer says, 'Amishman Joe King, a native of Lancaster County, PA, for years, didn't like having his picture made even in a candid way. Tradition forbids Amishmen from being photographed but Joe was caught in an off-moment while visiting an in town shop. The beard and hat are part of the Amish garb which has not changed for centuries, nor will it ever change.'
