Entertainer Sammy Davis, Jr., grabs President Nixon from behind and squeezes his arms while Nixon talks to 8,000 of his youthful supporters at a youth rally, August 22, 1972. Davis's spontaneous gesture came shortly after the President had been nominated for reelection by the Republican National Convention in Miami Beach, Florida.
