In the Olympic basketball championship game, USA won by a single point and the team began celebrating. But the officials stopped the celebration when they ruled (over the protests of U.S. coach Hank Iba) that the final three seconds of the game should be replayed. When they were, Russia scored giving them the gold medal, leaving the U.S. team bitterly up.
