It took three fire fighters to control a hose used in subduing a stubborn fire about 3,30 a.m. that destroyed the Venice Cafe. More than two hours were required to control the fire in the old, two-story wood building. The building operator was going to move out of the building tomorrow, after doing business for 24 years without a fire.
