Photographer says, 'Los Angeles City Firemen attempt to cut into cockpit of crashed plane in the belief that someone had survived crash engulfed in fire when sparks from cutting saw ignited leaking gasoline. The photographer, using a wide angle lens, and standing in the foam covered gasoline himself, made the pictures in short burst, before fleeing.'
