A car driven by Mrs. Leslie Cady with her two children, Susan, 9, and Jane, 6, drove off a mountain highway into the rain swollen waters of Clear Creek. Mrs. Cady and her children were unhurt but trapped in the middle of the river for two hours before being rescued by the Lakewood Bancroft fire rescue team from nearby Lakewood, Colorado.
