Sixty-two-year-old Jack Boyd watched and waited for the cook to throw out the garbage behind a restaurant. He carefully sorted through the leftovers. He's a long way from his Texas home and a long way from next month's welfare check. Cole slaw and French fries take care of this meal, in a way, and make the wait easier.
