It was a gloomy day in the Twin Cities, but an elderly woman brightened it for some geese and a pair of swans at the Lake of the Isles. The woman has been feeding the birds for years out of two plastic pails and a woven bag. When asked if she was talking to the ducks and geese, the woman replied, 'No, I was talking to the swans.'
