For lying about the agency's covert operations in Chile, former CIA director, Richard M. Helms was fined $2,000 and given a suspended two-year prison term. Unrepentant, and with his substantial government pension intact, Helms declared, 'I don't feel disgraced at all.' Photographer Mark Meyer, said, 'I tried to capture the man's arrogance in this shot.'
