Caption/Description
According to one medieval legend, St. Brendan and a band of hearty monks sail westward from the Irish coast sometime before 600 A.D. in a leather-hulled boat, and discovered the New World. To recreate that voyage, a small group of modern-day adventurers, sailed the same sort of primitive vessel from Eire to Newfoundland.
