The Brendan, a 36 foot leather boat leaves Reykjavik's harbor in Iceland on its final leg across the North Atlantic. The historical odyssey duplicated the voyage of Saint Brendan, a 6th century Irish monk-explorer who was the first, through legend, to discover the New World from Irish shores.
