This sea gull, foraging in a trash can at Mission Bay Park, managed to snag the sack with his beak but the empty beer can dropped out of the sack on takeoff. The gull apparently didn't read the sign on the refuse can. The maximum penalty for littering could be $500. And just how many sea gulls have $500 these days?
