The sun was shining warmly and it seemed a perfect spring day in Washington Park. But the day turned ugly in the Over-the-Rhine park when a 9-year-old boy began to beat a 53-year-old man, Jack Young, with a stick. Photographer shot a picture of the boy striking the man, then immediately ran to the man's aid.
