After a seven-week civil war that left 10,000 dead and 500,000 homeless, rebels of the Sandinista National Liberation front took over Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, and a five-man junta took control of the government. The next day, a sixteen-year-old boy, the last of four sons, was shot by gunmen from a passing car. Here, relatives guard over his body.
