A group of U.S. Marines walk down the Green Line of Beirut where nearly all buildings are shattered. At the left side, the houses belong to the Christian area, while the buildings on the right belong to the Moslem side. The U.S. Marines arrived here as a part of the multi-national force that is overseeing the departure of the PLO.
