During the first few days, Toby was given sunshine on the porch to their cabin. Kate, still excited and overjoyed with her new son, couldn't take her eyes off him, even while he slept. Both Kate and Jennifer realize the special situation of two lesbians raising a boy. They say they will make sure to have plenty of male role models for him.
