Rick Morin won the state outdoor polevaulting title when he was a sophomore. He repeated when he was a junior and in his senior year hoped to do the same. Following Morin for the final month of his scholastic career, Morin set the state record for his class, but failed to win his third state title. With the corssbar set at 15 feet, Morin drives up during practice.
