Injured demonstrators huddle together after tens of thousands of Nepalese protesters are beaten back by armed police as they tried to march on the streets.Nepal's opposition groups are calling for a restoration of democracy from King Gyanedra's royalist regime and vow to continue their protests until he steps down. Violent clashes became a regular occurance between pro-democracy groups and the government's forces. King Gyanedra's royalist government ordered a curfew, cutting phone lines and internet and arresting anti-government activists while a ban on protests continues angering Human Rights organizations.
